5 circle Venn diagram template
Five identical ellipses, rotated around a centre, give all 31 regions that five sets need. Use it when the overlap itself is the point you are making.
How to fill in this template
- Label each petal-shaped set.
- Write one or two words per region.
- For a handout, print the outline page and let readers fill it in.

Yes. Download the PDF in US Letter or A4. Page 1 is lightly coloured and page 2 is plain outlines, which uses less ink and photocopies well. Both have Name and Date lines for classroom use.
Can a Venn diagram have five circles?
Not with true circles; they can make at most 21 of the 31 inner regions. Five-set Venn diagrams use ellipses or other curves.
