1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VennMaker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
VennMaker reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
2. Description of Service
VennMaker is a free online tool that allows users to create, edit, and export Venn diagrams. The Service includes:
- Creating Venn diagrams with 2-5 circles
- Customizing colors, labels, and styling
- Exporting diagrams to PNG, SVG, and PDF formats
- Saving diagrams locally in your browser
- Sharing diagrams via URL links
All processing occurs client-side in your browser. We do not store your diagrams on our servers.
3. User Content & Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create using VennMaker, including diagrams, labels, and exported files.
VennMaker does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and commercialize your diagrams as you see fit.
By using the Service, you represent that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights and complies with applicable laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use VennMaker only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service to create content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's operation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
VennMaker does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VennMaker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
- Damages arising from any content created using the Service
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your data
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are sought.
7. Data Storage & Responsibility
VennMaker stores all data locally in your browser. This means:

You are responsible for backing up your diagrams by exporting them. Clearing browser data will permanently delete your saved diagrams.
No Cloud Backup
We do not provide cloud storage or backup services. If you lose your browser data, we cannot recover your diagrams.

8. Changes to Service
VennMaker reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
